Hey, I’m Margo! Thanks for stopping by. I wish we were able to enjoy a walk together; or maybe feast on guac and chips down by the lake; or perhaps just sit in the cool of the day enjoying a Starbucks coffee or a Rishi tea over amazing conversation. (Just some of my delights.

But my main delight is teaching women, just like you, to know Jesus personally, passionately, powerfully and pre-eminently. To see lives changed, marriages healed and families restored. (Just like He has changed me…and He’s not done yet!)

Years ago, as I was studying God’s Word, I looked out my glass door to the lake and noticed a mist hovering over it. No sooner had I looked away and back again..the mist was gone. Suddenly, I heard in my heart, “What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.” (James 4:14b) Yeow! THAT was fast. I knew God was calling me out of my comfortable career to invest in the two things that will last forever: 1. the Word of God; 2. people

And so I obeyed. For almost 20 years, I have seen God open door-after-door to be able to share His Word through Bible studies, conferences, retreats, events, speaking engagements…and even Christian radio, as an on-air morning personality.

It’s such an amazing privilege to encourage women of every denomination and culture to know God’s promises…to know His truths…because He gives us all we need to lead a godly life through the B. I. B. L. E. (Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth).

Thirty years ago, I married my best friend, Brian, on the idyllic shores of Maui. (And I’m sure glad I did.) Plus, we’ve been blessed with two, now-adult daughters (ages 22 and 18…how did that happen?). Between writing, studying and teaching, I spend most of my time joyfully being a wife and mom.

Statement of Faith

What We Believe

Scripture
We believe the Scriptures, both Old and New Testament, to be the inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings, the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men and the divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life. (1)

God
We believe in one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (2)

Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross, a sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. Further, He arose bodily from the dead and ascended into heaven, where He is at the right hand of the Majesty on High. He now is our High Priest and Advocate, and in the person of the Holy Spirit, He indwells the believer. (3)

Holy Spirit
We believe the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, and during this age to convict, regenerate, seal, indwell, guide, instruct and empower for life and service. (4)

Mankind
We believe man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and is therefore lost, and only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained. (5)

Salvation
We believe the shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only ground for justification and salvation for all who believe, and only such as receive Jesus Christ are born of the Holy Spirit and thus become children of God. (6)

Ordinances
We believe water baptism and the Lord’s Supper are ordinances to be observed by the Church during this age. They are, however, not to be regarded as means of salvation or prerequisites for church membership. (We shall practice believer’s baptism by immersion.) (7)

The Church
We believe the true Church is composed of all such persons who are regenerated by the Holy Spirit through saving faith in Jesus Christ, are united together in the Body of Christ of which He is Lord and Head and are now commissioned for the God-given task of proclaiming the gospel to every person.(8)

Christ’s Return
We believe in the personal and imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ, and that this has a vital bearing on the personal life and service of the believer. (9)

Judgment
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead, of the believer to everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord, and of the unbeliever to judgment and eternal separation from God. (10)
